Mr. Strother is a skilled litigator with over 39 years experience representing clients in Houston and across Texas. Mr. Strother practices primarily in the areas of litigation, collections, lender representation, real estate litigation, deceptive trade practices act cases, and construction law litigation.
Mr. Strother has successfully won jury trials and bench trials in state and federal courts. He has obtained monetary awards on behalf of clients from arbitration panels. He has successfully defended clients in lawsuits requesting temporary injunctions that threaten the client's business existence. He has also successfully obtained temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions for clients in cases involving former employees or covenants not to compete, thereby saving his clients potentially millions of dollars in lost business.
Mr. Strother has obtained in excess of 500 summary judgments for his clients. By doing so, his clients saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees by not having to continue through trial. The summary judgment awarded his clients their damages without the necessity of additional discovery and trial.
